Our Solar Home

Note the Solar Attic fan. The black round object near the panels. This device runs a silent fan that cools the attic all day long using the sun to power the motor. This along with the new white shingles help reduce the temperture in the attic, keeping the entire house cooler in the summer.

This blog was created so we could share our story about our home. We have a 3kWh solar system on our roof that powers all the electrical appliances. Come back and see what new things we have done to better our home and the environment.
